This project began in 2021, with the vision of offering a refuge for mountaineers, hikers, climbers and adventurers, taking advantage of the strategic location of the town of Peñas, in the center of the Cordillera Real.

Discover the magic of Bolivia

Peñas is a small town 60 km from the city of La Paz, with an altitude of 3970 meters above sea level. Located in the middle of the Bolivian plateau and in the center of the Cordillera Real, the name given to the stretch of the Andes mountain range located in northern Bolivia, with snow-capped peaks of over 6,000 meters, which can be seen from the Hotel. During the day Peñas is a place for contemplation, silence and observation; and at night the stars are drawn in the sky.

Our hotel not only offers you an incomparable location in the Bolivian plateau, but its architectural design represents the natural diversity that characterizes this Andean country. Our spacious lounge evokes the Bolivian plateau at over 4 thousand meters above sea level; across the lounge you will find the rooms, which are named after a mountain of the Cordillera Real, alluding to the majesty of the Andes; behind the mountains, in the bathrooms of each room you will find flora of the Yungas region and the inter-Andean valleys.
